| The July Meeting was held at Kriss and Evelyn's house.
The weather was perfect, the food was great, and all the losers got a
chance for redemption. Beer Steamed Chicken and Brats topped the
menu along with numerous salads and tons of deserts. At the meeting
Rod won the door prize. The big Loser (winners) were Russ and Cid,
Joyce and Earle, Kriss and Evelyn, Ron Gabbard, and Rod. They took
turns drawing each others tickets almost in a pattern during the losers
raffle. Occasionally someone else got a chance at a bottle. (An FBI
investigation for conspiracy is currently underway). Bobbie Kelly
started a new collection but then decided instead to give the bird to Ron
Jenson (she won a bird figural in case you are wondering). By doing that
it ensured that everyone got at least one bottle from the losers drawing
making all of us loser (winners). |
